== SECRECY == >>>How to setup Imminent Monitor <<< - SysAdmin - Jul 23, 2017 ![]() Introduction As Pronouncer already did an interesting setting up guide for Orcus, i'll be doing the same for Imminent Monitor. This guide will be setting up Imminent Monitor for home (Legit) usage. NOTE: Pictures in the thread are NOT resized! Step 1 - Friendly GUI! We will start at the News tab of the Remote Administration Tool. This is the GUI you will be faced with once starting up (and logging into) Imminent Monitor. Spoiler (Click to View) Step 2 - Building the Stub What we're looking for is the "Client Builder" button that is located on the bottom left of the GUI, next to "Logout" and "Settings" Spoiler (Click to View) When you click this, you are taken to the Client Builder page which includes Identification, Network Settings, Module Protection, Client Startup and Assembly Information. Spoiler (Click to View) Step 3 - Configuring the Stub Identification is a required setting, it allows you to set your company name or your name, your contact email and an invisible client mode. You can put in anything you want here. Spoiler (Click to View) Network Settings are an essential part of the build, it tells the stub where to connect when ran. Since we're going to use our local network, we take our IPv4 local address (Looks like 192.168.x.x) and put it in the IP/DNS Field. You can use ANY Port as long as your settings are set up to listening onto that very port. Imminent Monitor uses 6688 as it's default listening port. In our case, we do not need to portforward, as the client will connect via a Local Network. Client Group is the name of the group of which the client is in, in my case, i named it LocalNetwork, you can name it whatever you want. Module Protection is often used for various helpful settings. We'll be using "Ensure Client Remains on Startup", since we want to keep the stub alive even after the PC Restarts. Spoiler (Click to View) Assembly Information is how the stub will look like when built. You can use your own information here and a custom icon. Spoiler (Click to View) REMEMBER TO ALWAYS READ THE TERMS OF USE BEFORE AGREEING! Spoiler (Click to View) If you're going to use the settings often, you can save the settings by clicking on the "Save Settings" button. If not, just click on "Compile" Spoiler (Click to View) Step 4 - Execution All you have to do now is to run the stub on the system you want to monitor. This will pop-up, make sure you are listening to the port you set in the Client Builder and click "Connect" Spoiler (Click to View) And that's it, you can now monitor the computer you executed the stub on! Step 5 - Final Words I'd like to say that i'm in no way a Ratting Expert, I have used Imminent Monitor a few years ago, but still have memory on how it works. If you see anything wrong with what i've typed out, please PM me and I will fix it. Thank you for taking the time to read this thread. We appreciate your effort and look forward to helping you out.
