Ok, so this is a little far-fetched to be in the suggestions.
We all know a certain someone loves money, I am not going to mention his name, but he owns this forum.
A "HF King" user-bar.
You put it out for sale for 1$ under the upgrades.
You pay the 1$, put in the UID of you/friend, and pay for it.
Now, the next person, wanting to wear the crown has to pay 2$,
or if someone pays 10$ then it's 11$, you get the drill.
It would be fun to see how much it would reach, and how people fight about it.
Update :
A golden username, making yourself highly visible on the "who's online" section.
Ability to post a sticky thread lasting 14-30 days for holding the title of for a duration of 72 hours
If you should somehow get banned "permanently or temporarily" will the previous person hold the crown while you are absent.
There should be a minimum Requirement for becoming an "HF King", giving deserving members the chance to have been king, and one to potentially stay king.
To remain king you have to login MINIMUM 1 time every month, a true king never leaves the castle forever.
Unique award to the person holding the "HF King" title for over 90 days, if the person gets their kingdom overthrown, the award follows the new crowned king.
I also think instead of increasing with 1$ which was a suggestion, it should be 5$, and to decide who gets it, could easily be sorted by having a "HF King" Thread, where whomever post 5$ first secures themselves the spot, for 10$, 15$ and so on, and anyone noticing they are behind, could edit or delete their
entry upon discovering they were late. This makes it also even more competitive. This will only be spammy until it reaches upwards of 500+.

Fun concept, but I would only make it 1-step incremental, it'd be fun because a ton of people would be able to take a shot at it and become king for a few seconds.
Although I can imagine that this would bring some technical issues when hundreds or thousands of people are trying to become king, payment merging etc..

being a standing member with a "HF King" userbar, is sure to bring admiration and jealousy from a ton of members, as-well as respect in the long run, for dedicating the high amount it would reach.

Well, the person standing last, with the userbar, would certainty not be a random "dropping by" member, for the amount they invested.

Yeah but what if there is a list too that your name will go on listed on /king.php forever as someone who owned that bar.

Kind of defeats the purpose. That way the one with the most money around the time becomes king for a year, whilest this idea is a constantly changing variable.
