In need of a security camera - pete456 - Jul 28, 2017 I've been working on a program that will capture licenses plates and convert them to text. Right now I am using my logitech webcam, but after about 2 feet the image goes blurry. I was wondering if anyone might have a suggestion for a different one. * - thePoltergeist - Jul 28, 2017 (Jul 28, 2017 09:30 AM)pete456 Wrote: I've been working on a program that will capture licenses plates and convert them to text. Also what are you doing with the data? * - pete456 - Jul 28, 2017 (Jul 28, 2017 09:31 AM)thePoltergeist Wrote: Also what are you doing with the data? I'm building a system for a camp that will let the ranger know who is entering. Also can gopro's stream? * - Charger - Jul 28, 2017 Get something that ISNT 4K. Get a 1080p outdoor camera. Don't get a shitty brand. Give me a max distance you'll be using it from. Keep in mind the further you go the more expensive. https://www.surveillance-video.com/camera-adca55bwo4rn.html That should get readable plates at 1-15 meters. |
