What is a good low budget computer chair? - Rotca - Aug 2, 2017

I bought my last chair, and it was $199. It broke just as quickly as the $50 Wal-Mart computer chairs. Anybody know the best type of computer chair that is relatively low budget ($50 - $150 range) and won't break/tear/start to squeak within 6 months?

Look into buying a used chair on Craigslist maybe. Avoid any chair that's marketed towards gamers as well. That's a good start if you ask me.

Eh, not going to buy a used anything. Never been a fan of having other peoples stuff. I always buy new even if it is more expensive and in the same condition as someones used item. I've never even purchased a used game from Gamestop before.

Hence why I'm asking for recommendations, so I can find something to buy from Amazon.

Depends on what you want in a chair..

Do you want the chair to be able to recline back? turn side to side? arm rests?

What kind of features?

I don't care. I specified in the OP I want one that won't break/squeak after 6 months. So basically durable. I could give two shits if it reclines. All computer chairs turn. Would prefer arm rests.

Buy a solid wood chair with arm rests and use a small butt pillow.

Last you ages

Canada or US?

If Canada this was one of the best cheap ones I found, and it was the one I ended up getting last month.
