Accidently clicked a retarded link on HF - Crypto - Aug 4, 2017
I accidently clicked the fake spoiler on this thread here:

Can anyone tell me what kind of aids he could've possibly put on my computer? When I saw a new tab open in my browser after clicking the "spoiler" I immediately clicked it away so I couldn't see what the site was at all, nor do I know if he could've infected me with anything.
The user has a lot of negatives saying that he is trying to IP log/infect users here.
My question is if he could've infected me with anything or if he just only grabbed my Ip? Because I don't really care to much if all he's got is my ip.

I actually logged onto his thingy, and all you have is an IRC chat. Max he could get is your IP. I wouldn't worry much about that, just a script kiddy probably c:

Yes he could have infected you if he's using any exploits. Yes, your IP address will have been logged if a connection has been made and yes, doing a computer scan using any reputable av solution is recommended after clicking anything you don't trust. Stay safe.

Nah, I have a Dynamic DNS. Reset router > New ip. I'm not too worried about it, just wanted to let everyone know this retard is trying to drop IP's and his tool is shit.
