Registries to control Internet options - Marxist - Aug 9, 2017

I have a computer with some weird policies.
Local admins cannot change Internet options. Im trying to have it delete the cache and history upon closing IE due to it not closing outlook Web application sessions.

I found a registry value last night that let me have it delete it's history when closing, which leads me to believe it's a registry setting somewhere. Local admins cannot change any settings in Internet options ("some settings need to be changed by an administrator" and it's not on any domain)

I don't normally work on windows end user computers so I'm kind of lost here. any ideas as to where these registries are normally set?

Also, where does Windows 10 save Internet Explorer temporary files, cache, history, etc? Worst case I can just make a script that removes the files in question whenever the user is finished with OWA.

Again, I don't normally work on end user windows computers, and this is a computer I did not image so I'm not exactly sure what the previous admin did to this thing.

Can you screenshot what internet options you were attempting to change?

Hey dude, did I understand that right? These are not domained systems? That could make your life a whole lot easier if that is the case. If you have local admin rights, which it seems that you do, you could simply alter the local policy of the box and do as you please.

I cannot. I'm sorry. Pretty much all advanced settings are disabled, changing or deleting cache, history, etc are disabled.

Yes, they are not domained. I have local admin rights, but it seems like the local policies aren't what's effecting this. I found a few registry values set disabling a few options, but I can't seem to find registries disabling cache settings or anything like that.
