help i think i clicked on a phishing link - TNB Jeff - Aug 9, 2017 can anyone help me i think i clicked on a phishing link... what can they get from me clicking on the link? * - Conceal - Aug 9, 2017 As far as I'm aware phishing links are linked designed to look legitimate in order to bait your login information. As long as you didnt login you should be okay. However, if you did I suggest changing your password asap. Other than that you're okay. * - 5chn4pp - Aug 9, 2017 Just change your passwords and maybe reset your browser, unless it contained an exploit nothing big will happen. * - TNB Jeff - Aug 9, 2017 how do I tell if it's got an exploit? * - 5chn4pp - Aug 9, 2017 (Aug 9, 2017 06:55 AM)TNB Jeff Wrote: how do I tell if it's got an exploit? What type of site was it? What did it imitate? * - Vеrt - Aug 9, 2017 You'll be fine unless something downloaded, or you logged your information. * - TNB Jeff - Aug 9, 2017 it was a picture scontent.fprg2-1.fna.fbcdn.n3(this 3 was an e)t/v/t1.0-9/20429925_107394416610499_5526970450626460460_n.jpg?oh=200b6db922072ed3f454537eee2ab497&oe=59F6C313 * - 5chn4pp - Aug 9, 2017 Nah that shouldn't contain any exploit, change passwords and reset your browser, then you're fine. * - TNB Jeff - Aug 9, 2017 (Aug 9, 2017 07:07 AM)Bromo-DragonFLY Wrote: Nah that shouldn't contain any exploit, change passwords and reset your browser, then you're fine. so you think he grabbed all my saved info on my browser? * - 5chn4pp - Aug 9, 2017 (Aug 9, 2017 07:16 AM)TNB Jeff Wrote: so you think he grabbed all my saved info on my browser? Nope, but as a security precaution I would recommend to do it, there is a small chance he could but the link doesn't look that bad. * - TNB Jeff - Aug 9, 2017 (Aug 9, 2017 07:17 AM)Bromo-DragonFLY Wrote: Nope, but as a security precaution I would recommend to do it, there is a small chance he could but the link doesn't look that bad. okay thankyou very much! would + rep if i could. * - Emma_parker - Aug 9, 2017 Hi Do you have any software which can protect you? Mostly people send emails to get your credentials and your get access to your data. I will advice you to change all your accounts password and install antiviruses. I use a vpn service and they claim that they protect with phishing attacks as well. * - Nyx - Aug 10, 2017 (Aug 9, 2017 07:03 AM)TNB Jeff Wrote: it was a picture scontent.fprg2-1.fna.fbcdn.n3(this 3 was an e)t/v/t1.0-9/20429925_107394416610499_5526970450626460460_n.jpg?oh=200b6db922072ed3f454537eee2ab497&oe=59F6C313 That is just a facebook image link. * - NeverForgotten. - Aug 10, 2017 Nothing to worry about OP, It belongs to Facebook just as witch said.
