just the potential of intrusion of your privacy and potential leak
like they have as much power over your files and db and source as yourself

Just go with a reputable host. They don't care nor is your work valuable enough for them to snoop through.
Host it yourself if you are that concerned.
Also, if you use proper passwords, they aren't going to be able to get to your database.

if u use a webhost they have full access to source files + Database
what about if you use VPS or Dedicated server?
what access do they exactly have to the content hosted on the server?
