Buying a laptop for college -- help? - Babz - Aug 13, 2017 The last time I bought a laptop was in 2009. It was a toshiba that most recently just fried out. And now, with college coming soon (~20ish days), I am on the hunt for a laptop. I think I don't want a mac, but am open to all conversation. Preferably cheap however I still do want to be able to run many things at once. Help? * - Classicâ„¢ - Aug 13, 2017 If I were you, I would go to reddit.com/r/appleswap and buy a cheap Macbook Pro. I bought a 2013 one for around $500 (best specs possible) and that was an amazing deal. It's been 2 years and I am still using this thing everyday. * - Travelers - Aug 14, 2017 (Aug 13, 2017 12:06 PM)Babz Wrote: The last time I bought a laptop was in 2009.
