Been playing with a way to get custom URLs on youtube. - Mr. Robot - Aug 17, 2017 So after checking this dudes thread. https://hackforums.net/showthread.php?tid=5696540 He reckons he has a way to get custom URLs on youtube. I think I found out how to do it, so for anyone who has input or wants to contribute and get this for free - tag along. So what I found is the only way around this is to create a business google + account and then link a "Brand Account" and voila you should get one (if you verify your address) If not I think you might need this https://support.google.com/plus/answer/2676340 Quote:Rules for getting a custom URL Anyone wanna play around with it with me - * - Zens - Aug 17, 2017 uhhh, #Exposed. It's not confirmed yet, still going to play around with it to see if I can find a way without having to verify an address. Will need to find someone with 10+ followers and 30 day old account (with a profile pic) * - Punisher - Aug 17, 2017 Custom YouTube URLs have their own requirements, and Google+ custom URLs are now separate from YouTube - they don't carry over. Here's the most extensive FAQ for YouTube URL creation I could find; https://productforums.google.com/forum/#!topic/youtube/CCbcrRSO2ng The link you quoted in the OP is the requirements for a custom Google+ URL Quote:What are the eligibility requirements for a custom YouTube URL? The trick involves setting your first name on Google to the first few letters of the URL you want to claim with a blank last name. Then you get the requirements for the YouTube custom URL When if offers you the ability to claim your URL, simply add the rest of the word to the end of those first few letters. Example: I want youtube.com/c/Error I set my first name on Google to "Err" with no last name I get the requirements for the custom URL They offer me "youtube.com/c/Err_______" and I must add letters or numbers to the end I add "or" to the end and claim the URL I get "youtube.com/c/Error" I haven't successfully done it because even though I meet all requirements for a custom URL I am unable to claim one due to using non-standard characters in my Google profile. |
