Im trying to help out a buddy that is trying to get instagram followers for his account , does anyone know any good services paid or free , 🤝

That depends how you send them... You cannot send 5k Followers in 1 hour otherwise it gets banned ... Their are methods around that

InstaMacro always worked well for me, but with InstaGress offline I think it's a little risky using these kinds of bots.

Yea my buddy had instamarco but like halfway through his member ship it just stopped working , dont know whats up with that
