I'm thinking of putting money in Treasury Bonds since they are the safest but $50 a year in two $25 payments for a $1,000 invest over 30 years seems like a slow drip. Seems worth to invest in Gov bonds only if you willing to put in 1 Mil+. AAA Corporates have slightly better coupon rates by like maybe .75-1%. Thinking of dumping into Microsoft too. I'm also looking at the 30 year bonds. Guys got an opinion on it?
