[NEW] Discord Crasher [CRASH DISCORD CHATS] - ✔ Soufian ✔ - Aug 25, 2017
Hello guys,
I've just discovered this nice "exploit" in Discord which can actually let Discord crash or for some people cause a BSOD due to their CPU usage maxing out.
But the lag is guaranteed to work on 95% of the people you send it to.
How it works:
1. Send this link to the person you want to crash: http://c99.nl/discord/
(This can also work for Discord servers, but "Link preview" must be on.)
Be aware it could also crash your own Discord.
So after sending it, try to click on another Discord chat right after you press enter to send the link.

you took advantage of webpack module bug for rendering embeds in discord on chromium based apps/browsers
as you spammed html page to death with meta data and content so embed renderer isn't able to handle it

It's know bug and got patched long time ago on dev build so it is pretty much useless when new patch is released for canary, ptb and main release

this is just a bug not exploit as you dont get to do anything with it only make embed renderer get overloaded

Well it works and I just fucked over like 3 discord chats, its a cool exploit for now.

Problem is for you to enjoy user has to use desktop app or chromium based browser and over 50% of traffic is coming over mobile phones

Eh..
Did you know Discord is mainly made for Gamers?
So I'm pretty sure the mobile traffic might be 10 to 20%.
