Free GAS if you have NEO in their official Neo wallet. - Net - Aug 28, 2017

Probably a majority of people know about this already, but to the small % of people that don't know (including me yesterday), you can claim free NEO GAS, if you're using their official Neon wallet.

Its a pretty sweet way to earn some Gas, while holding NEO.

They also pay out the GAS on exchange website Binance, Only if you're keeping it on Bittrex you're getting fucked.

I've bought NEO maybe 2 weeks ago and I regret not transfering to my NEO wallet immediately.

Video doesn't exactly explain what GAS is? I'll assume that's their currency?

I looked up both NEO & GAS on Crypto tracker & they both appear. Are the two related?

Holding NEO will give you GAS, you can see NEO as a share in the company and GAS as their currency.

Thanks bud.
Does anyone know if the two follow similair patterns? If the Neo platform loses traction and loses stock value, it's safe to assume GAS would fall shortly after correct?

How much GAS do you earn?
Is it based off how many NEO you hold in the wallet?
Would appreciate any response to this.

Thanks for sharing, been holding my NEO at Bittrex for a long time. Downloaded the official GUI and am now syncing.

This is a good site to help you calculate how much gas you would be able to accumulate with your amount of neo.

Think of Neo as a gas station and Gas as... well, gas.

Are you possibly able to answer user Hopped's question above? I too am curious, do you get more the larger quantity of NEO you hold? Understansable if you can't answer just yet but possibly tomorrow.

Hey man are you using windows? I am using the official NEO-gui and when I go to advanced - NEOGas claim is shows what is available (0) and unavailable (3.809) The claim all button is greyed out. Anyone know how to actually claim the gas into your wallet?

It doesn't really matter what wallet it is, as long as you're holding it in a private wallet :)
