dutch cyberpolice contacted me today - w4ʀɴɪɴɢ - Aug 30, 2017

Hi, apparantly the police wants to speak with me about some german software I purchased 5 years ago when I was 13.
What am I supposed to do? Any advice

Tell them to talk to your lawyer

* - DARPA - Aug 30, 2017

Speak in French. Go wee mademoseille Si amigo bill gates. Putin veiger.

* - test - Aug 30, 2017

Don't respond to anything without speaking to a lawyer. Also change the IP on your toaster and delete your cookies. But seriously get legal advice.

Burn hdd's dont let them find the loli stash

Get a lawyer and ask about legal advice

* - Effexion - Aug 30, 2017

What was the software, if you don't mind me asking. For that time period, I would have guessed Black Shades, but I know that wasn't German.

* - Trippie - Aug 30, 2017

I would aim towards legal advice to be honest.

* - Pre-eminent - Aug 30, 2017

What software did they contact you about?
My suggestion, for now, would be to speak with a lawyer and hear them out, if they want to cooperate do that, otherwise, burn your HDD and stick to your lawyer's advice.

* - Danktober - Aug 30, 2017

Let me guess blackshades or am I wrong

* - Mr. Robot - Aug 30, 2017

Go in and speak with them. Make sure you have a fake security blog setup for research and malware analyzing - point them towards it and be on your way.
Tell them your old blog hosted on a free domain was removed if they ask about site registration dates.

I highly doubt this story, knowing a bit how Dutch police works online. What software did you use, how did they contact you, what did you answer, etc.

Really you're asking for help, but without giving any information we need to give proper advice.

Yeah because lying to the police is the way to go.

Go and speak to them dont give anything away if you did wrong, if they got something on you then say you want your lawyer if they dont speak to them and see what they want

When isn't it? Always lie to the police.

* - Bossk - Aug 30, 2017

They are probably interested in knowing if you performed any sort of financial fraud. Either way, follow Mr robob's advice.
