Strange Cursor Movement and Cursor Freezing - Effexion - Aug 30, 2017

I am looking for someone that knows what they're doing to help me determine if my system is infected.

Over the past few days my cursor starts acting oddly quite late at night. It will go past things I am trying to click on and it makes general navigation a nightmare. Last night the cursor started to become really sluggish to a point where I couldn't move it (gradually happened) and had to reboot. On rebooting the same happened and it happened quickly.

This morning, I had no issues at all and now they have come back. I will reply as quickly as possible but if I take a while, you know why. I'll be trying lol.

But make sure.. do a checkup and scan ur pc it could be someone thats doing that.

Tracker mouse driver? I will look into this tomorrow. Thanks, man.

Is your mouse wireless? If so, change batteries and USB port.

It's probably a driver issue but if you want a checkup:

Please download Farbar Recovery Scan Tool and save it to your Desktop.

Note: You need to run the version compatible with your system. If you are not sure which version applies to your system download both of them and try to run them. Only one of them will run on your system, that will be the right version.
  • Right click to run as administrator. When the tool opens click Yes to disclaimer.

  • Press Scan button.

  • It will produce logs called FRST.txt and Addition.txt in the same directory the tool is run from.

  • Please copy and paste the logs back here.
