Protect folder? - Mr. Money™ - Sep 2, 2017

I was wondering if there is a way to protect a web folder with a login system or something that i can grant access to the certain path. So for example if the path is domain.com/protectedpath/ when i go to this path something will popup either a login dialog or something and people who have access to it can access it and people who don't have access to it can not check it out.

Yes you can protect a particular path just by using htaccess with a username and password. If you need some help feel free to drop me a message

This forum is designed for web development questions, so this thread is fine and all. But you can get a near instant result googling it. Just saying.

As_Digital_ said, .htaccess is the easiest way to go. Personally I would protect each file with PHP but that's just me.
