Skype IP Resolve problem - Emrys - Sep 8, 2017 Hey friends. I'm having a problem resolving a contact of mine's IP address through Skype. I've seen a lot of tutorials for linux/mac I've started a sudo tcpdump for when I'm in a phone/video call with them. Here's the problem, and this is probably expected for most experienced users who are reading this: The only IP's I can able to get from the tcp dump is mine and the Skype's Data center. Is A skype Resolver really possible? (I've tried a ton of free/paid ones. none work for me) And if most people are leaning towards "no, they barely work." please let me know of what is the best method to reverse engineer or gain anothers ip address ? I personally just might email them and do it that way, but if you know another way that's way faster, please suggest here! Thanks a ton! Emrys * - SysAdmin - Sep 8, 2017 Skype Resolves are no longer updated, although you could try pulling old IP's that are still in the database. Call them up and use Wireshark to catch packets coming your way, there's tons of tutorials. * - cydiakik - Sep 9, 2017 Just use an skype resolver website * - TempAccount1213 - Sep 9, 2017 Skype resolvers have always been temperamental but yeah * - Emrys - Sep 14, 2017 (Sep 8, 2017 11:54 AM)SysAdmin Wrote: Skype Resolves are no longer updated, although you could try pulling old IP's that are still in the database.
