Removing bios admin pass with another device - Batli - Sep 9, 2017
I got a computer in mail from rma which was not the one I sent in and they told me to keep it or send it back and I want to keep it but as I was playing with the settings I put a password on the bios admin and I removed it but the password box is still coming up and is not accepting any of my passwords. Is there anyway I can remove this without opening up the laptop as I dont want to void the warranty. customer support said they made a ticket but their staff will not be available till Monday to give me an alternate password and I wanted to use the laptop over the weekend. If anyone can help that would be great, Thanks.

Did you try just pressing enter without typing in a password?

yea it did not work. I tried all my old passwords too
