Hack Forums has change my life in so many positive ways. But the most prominent way it has impacted my life is that I was able to enter the world of computers, programming, and website development. Once I joined Hack Forums I slowly gained more knowledge about computers and finally found what I wanted to do with my life. That being eventually become a computer scientist. Before Hack Forums I had no idea what I wanted to do for a career or education. Hack Forums sparked my interested into computers so much that I changed my entire plan. Around 2013 I switched my major in college to computer science. At first it was extremely tough for me and stressful. I attempted to go to the tutoring center but found that they only offer tutoring for the basic computer science classes not high level classes. I turned to Hack Forums for help. I was so lucky to meet people on here to tutor me and help me with any questions I had about my school work. I ended up using that person as my tutor for years.

After graduating college and getting my computer science degree I ran into trouble finding a job because I couldn't get a solid resume down. Once again I made a post asking for help on Hack Forums and added someone on Skype chatted with them and they helped me put together an amazing resume. I felt confident that they were able to express my skills correctly.

I went on applying to a few places and ended up getting a job as a computer scientist and still work there now. I couldn't have done it without Hack Forums and its members. Hack Forums is not just a place to hangout it is a great resource that everyone should use weather you are interested in computers or not. There is always someone here willing to help or just be a friend to you. This is how Hack Forums impacted my life.
