Windows Password Crack Help - LFCooledWhip - Sep 10, 2017
How can I crack a windows 10 password on a physical machine? I have the machine right next to me so I pretty much have "infinite time" to crack it. I have a kali system(separate system not a VM) and my Windows 10 system. How can I crack windows 10 user account? Thanks.

If it's your machine, login and you can enable telnet, or maybe ssh. And brute force those services.

Its in my own house it's my own machine. Old alienware X64 on windows 10 from a year ago.

Here you go. It's your best bet and use native functionalities. you don't need 3rd party apps to crack pass. apart from this. Its really tedious.

You can boot your usb using Windows PE or Linux.
Make sure you have booting usb.
PE ) Boot up to your pe and select Windows passeord reset.
Linux) lunch file explorer and goto your windows installion directory.
Eg) C:/Windows
Goto /System32 and del sethc.exe and copy cmd.exe to sethc.exe
Now boot into your usb and press shipt again again again...
If you did well done, you can see command prompt.
Now , type this command: net user <accountname> <password which you want>
Now login into your account with password which you want.

do not ever delete anything from there for any reason whatsoever. if you really need to replace it, then rename it to sethc.exe.old or something as a backup instead. you're begging to get detected by deleting/replacing something altogether.
also, reminder that this doesn't always work as you still need admin permission. better off using a recovery windows disk. or just chntpw.

If you have infinite time to crack it. and can log in the PC YOu should do this.
You can Use Mimikatze which shows you the password in clear text.

Or the best IDEA is
Make a bootable Kali Linux USB then connect it to you machine and OPen it Live.
And Now go to C drive via Kali
C\System32\ now search for Utilman.exe and rename it to utilman.exe.bak and rename the cmd.exe as Utilman.exe.
Now restart your system, remove the kali bootable drive
Then the password screens come just press WINDOWS KEY + U it will open CMD bcz we have edited it so instead of utilman its CMD.
Now you have the Cmd of your computer do whatever you want.
Now you can use CVE 2015-1701 (for 32 bit ) , WCE, mimi kaze. Just paste them in the pendrive and navigate to your USB via CMD then cracck password
