Cheap-ish GPU? - WinnerDinner - Sep 11, 2017

I am looking to buy a new GPU,as of now i have a r7 250x and it is doing well for lol and cs go but it is utter shit for pubg, even at low settings. My cpu is amd fx 6300 and i am looking for a gpu that can handle pubg at low settings.I was thinking gtx 1050ti - rx 560x - gtx 1050 .Any ideas? ✌

1050ti will probably run pubg with decent fps, but I'm not sure if your cpu won't bottleneck it.

Like the post above me said, a 1050ti or maybe a 1060 would be a solid buy. The 1060 I would personally recommend just because I feel it will last you a bit longer since pc games are getting harder and harder to run. A bit more costly but still worth imo.

Alright thanks for the suggestions guys.I think i will go for 1050ti because 1060 is very expensive :/ .Should i go for 4gb or 2gb?

1050ti only comes in 4GB.

look for a used 3gb 1060. They go for under 200. If thats too expensive you could also look at a gtx 970. They go for abput 170-180

I cannot recommend a 970, The best option for OP is the 4GB 1050Ti.

For just 30 eu more i can get a 1060 (3gb).Is it considerably better than 1050ti ?I will buy a new CPU in 2 months so i don't care about bottleneck as long as i can play pugb at decent fps.Anyone more experienced can perhaps guide me?
Thanks 🤝

Hey thanks for the reply.I think 1060 would be a better investment for the long run(as the other person said) so i might as well get it for 30 eu extra! Thanks 🤝

I have a second machine with a FX-6300 and R9 270x. There isn't a massive performance difference between the 270x and 1050. Back when I used to game on it, I remember two were fairly balanced in terms of bottlenecks. But performance wasn't all too great. Plenty enough for esports however. You have to consider there are both CPU intensive games and GPU intensive games. You're going have the same results where the CPU is still an 6300.
