So i have 2 monitors been running them fine, was playing fortnite and BAM the game froze and closed and it 'cancelled' off my second monitor so now for some reason it wont detect the second monitor

You will need to restart your computer; if that doesn't work try the following:
Right click on the desktop and go to the Display Settings. You should see your second monitor recognized there, if not there is a button to detect multiple monitors. You can also check display adapter properties to see if your monitor is there.
AMD has a way to detect multiple monitors within their software, and NVIDIA does as well. You can try that route as well.
If none of the above works, take the monitor and plug it on another machine to see if the monitor is faulty. I would also try to change the cable, to see if that is faulty.

Sounds like you had a crash. Restart and see what errors you can find.

First thing I would try after a reboot would be to test the monitor by itself (without the working monitor), then test it with a different computer all together. Monitor might have gone poop.

Reboot, go into display settings if its not there, check device manager and if its not in device manager then the cable could have gone bad or driver issue.
