Basically: He will use the password recoveries that i hired him to write and use to make his own product instead. Leaving me empty handed.
Why am I making this community alert?
It's an unreliable service and he wasted 11 days. He even said it himself.
It is a really shitty situation. Never thought that a service could be that unreliable. I mean like, he could have sold me the password recoveries that i hired him to write and then use them himself afterwards? I wouldn't have cared.
Don't hire him, deal with caution.
It sucks. I hope that there are better services out there. If anyone of you have any recommendation (.NET services), please let me know. I would appreciate that.

That's definitely not a cool thing to do, don't waste that much of someones time and leave them completely empty handed just because you want to try your own thing.

Pretty much. Glad that am not delusional. Idk, shit happens and i'll find someone more reliable.
It's just weird. He could have sold them to me and then used them himself, completely fine..

That is a bad way to conduct business. Freelancers shouldn't sacrifice professionalism for quick money.
I think HF needs a coding section in the marketplace. Maybe that will give incentive to members to learn how to code.

Not sure if it'll help. It's the mindset he had, that he would make more money off selling the recoveries as a product himself. Which is the absolute dickmove for so many reasons.
