Thread subscriptions with new posts in UserCP seems to be broken - Dean Winchester - Sep 20, 2017
So I don’t have a lot of time these days so I usually post around every now and then and then just check UserCP for a couple days while studying etc
However lately I have seen an increase in threads that don’t have new posts.
Right now I have two threads in there where the latest reply was from myself, and the post that I made on those threads are several days old
Is this meant to happen
I feel like it never happened before

A couple thousand, but the older ones seem to never re-appear

This happens to me all the time. I ended up clearing my subscriptions because it was getting ridiculous. I had some from years ago show up.
I think a few people made a thread about this but don’t remember. I hope it is fixed. I still have this issue today after clearing them all. Wonder if it has to do when a post is updated or like someone updates their signature on all their post making it show up.

I don't use subscriptions anymore. I have a new chrome extension installed which lets me look at my recent posts and see if there are any newer posts. I prefer this!

Yeah I've got a dozen threads I'm subscribed to, now it just a random spam in my usercp without any new posts. I think it's better to use bookmark feature of your browser instead of subscriptions.

A while back I received a mail I was now unsubscribed from everything through email. Also stopped my auto subscription to threads. Resubscribed my email using the form, and after that re-enabled the setting. Haven't had it since.

Unacceptable. This is abuse of a feature.
