iOS 10.3 or update to iOS 11 - MrDocs - Sep 27, 2017

Hey everyone,

I have iPhone SE on that phone is still iOS 10.3. Should i update that one as well to iOS 11? My main phone the iPhone 7 is already on iOS 11 and it’s working nice. Some cool things in iOS 11. But what do guys think, will there be jailbreak available for iOS 10.3? It looks like that the jailbreak is dead. And you barely hear anything about it anymore.

Honestly used to be obsessed with jail breaking and I couldn’t care less about it now. Apple has done some solids for iOS. once we get 3D Touch app switching baxk, I don’t really see a need for it.

I'd rather be bug free than have jailbreak. I'm on iOS11 rn

Jailbreaks don’t necessarily equal buggy, but curious question anyway. Do you have an iPhone 7?

I'm on the iPhone 7+
And I usually experience more problems on jailbreak than iOS from Apple.

It's 99% because you install tweaks that aren't properly coded and compatible with Mobile Substrate which is the framework that interfaces with tweaks and doesn't let tweaks install to /system

Jailbreaking on iOS does one thing and one thing only. It gives you privilege escalation and you're then allowed to do things like install tweaks and etc.

If you only use paid tweaks from quality developers (I don't know any quality developers as of now, but I know that intelliborn used to be really good), then chances of your phone crashing, etc wouldn't be as common. That being said, iOS 11 is buggy as it is. I have been experiencing crashes back and forth. Way different from iOS 5 where everything was simple and the UI looked nice.
