I think I asked a dumb question in this forum today without giving enough thought into solving the problem one time because of the amount of other work I had to do. I realize I wasn't using my brain and that I should not have asked it. Does that make me unworthy of being on the forum if I ask a dumb question I probably could have solved myself?

People do much worse things than ask dumb questions. Plus it's subjective sometimes as to how 'dumb' a question is.
Asking this though is a dumb question, why should a user be banned for asking a question? People learn from dumb things.
