Active shooter alert issued at U.S. Air Force Academy
An active shooter alert has been issued at the U.S. Air Force Academy in Colorado, sparking a lockdown.
The USAFA sent out an alert around 10 p.m. Friday that declared, "AN ACTIVE SHOOTER HAS BEEN DECLARED BY LAW ENFORCEMENT. LOCKDOWN. LOCKDOWN. LOCKDOWN."
The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office said they are investigating a possible shooter situation.
"We received reports of [an] active shooter on Academy grounds. There are no confirmation of shots fired. Security forces are sweeping the area," the USAFA said on Twitter.

That's like the worst possible place to decide to bring a gun to and try to shoot people lol. That and a gun range.

But damn hopefully this was a false alarm and their is no active shooter. Some idiot may have called in a false report possibly but that would honestly be one of the better situations.

Cadets don't carry though, most likely secfo(cops) are the only armed personal on campus.
