The current version of Rad Studio is: Rad Studio 10.2.1 Tokyo There is a starter edition to this that's free, but has it's limits. Get the Starter Edition here Feature matrix here - pdf resource, takes a bit to load Check out the matrix to see what's provided and what isn't in the Starter edition. As for developing an app that would run on mac while your operating system is Linux then yes, you need access to a connected mac to test and run it. You can write the code and developer your app design time in the IDE regardless if you have access or not, you just won't be able to see it perform, debug it, run, live preview and so forth. As for android, it has a built in emulator so no need for access to android (you get the sdks and so forth and just launch it and emulate) If you're running on Windows x64 you can develop an app in 32-bit and add 64bit support - it will work on both once you release it. Some books here: https://hackforums.net/showthread.php?tid=5733625 Some websites that contain tutorials and such - mentioned in this thread: https://hackforums.net/showthread.php?tid=5724188 Also, take into account the free version like Lazarus, they're detailed/linked in the above mentioned thread. A nice YouTube channel with video tutorials I'd start with these videos if I were you Some other Delphi videos here *********************************************************************************************** Now to address you're initial question, I'd suggest choosing an IDE and going through the basic tutorials. As for books, Delphi Cookbook, Object Pascal Handbook and Coding in Delphi are must reads, in my opinion. You can find download links for them here: https://hackforums.net/showthread.php?tid=5733625 Other than that, StackOverflow community is great for answering question and debugging code. Feel free to ask here also when you run into something specific. * - Nyctophiliac - Oct 16, 2017 Thank you for the suggestions. I will definitely look into these. Greatly Appreciated * - tcsh - Oct 16, 2017 (Oct 16, 2017 10:43 AM)Nyctophiliac Wrote: Thank you for the suggestions.
