VB.NET Not Sure Where to go Next (Finished Guide) - Effexion - Oct 19, 2017 So, I finished my beginner's guide on Home & Learn for VB.NET. The guide set me up with the fundamentals and I know know basics such as functions, subs, loops, arrays, 2D arrays, string manipulation and a few other things. However, I didn't learn anything about interacting with websites (which is where I want to go next). I have followed a few tutorials like Teachmecomputer's web login video but struggling to find a next level course I can really get stuck into. Can anyone advise? * - Zero_Luffy - Oct 19, 2017 Honestly , i would advise you to take that course i cant post the link but it Visual basic courses on U D E M Y * - Ninja - Oct 19, 2017 Use the HttpClient object to interact with websites. It is well documented on MSDN. * - gigajew - Oct 20, 2017 After you feel familiar with the .NET libraries, I would move on to C# (it will help you to move on to C++ or java if you'd ever need to for a job) * - CacheIsAFag - Oct 20, 2017 You should probably research System.Net.Webclient * - RiperFish - Oct 20, 2017 i suggest you to get into sockets. |
