Officially Ratted Again - My Final Goodbye - Regulus - Nov 3, 2017
I am gonna keep this short.
I was sitting at the computer and suddenly a text document popped up saying the following
"You can be ratted via a JPG/DOC file nowadays so I am not clicking any links"
This was something I wrote a while ago to someone but it seems like I got ratted anyways

This will probably be my final farewell because I am tired of getting used and aimed at all the time
It feels like I am always a victim and people are targeting to infect me or use me.

That sucks man, I hope you have gotten rid of that infection. If not, I will suggest you to get a checkup done before you leave HF.

I am tired of resetting my PC all the time. I lose so much private stuff everytime and I can't bare with it anymore.

Why don't you just buy a separate laptop/chromebook for HF stuff. I mean it just costs 200 bucks maximum and you can click as much as infected links you want. Just make sure to 2fa your account.

you cannot get ratted by opening a jpg image but you can get ratted by opening doc files

if you have a 0day yes, but i doubt someone would use it to rat an hackforums member, just use eset and you should be fine it usually detects all hf crypters

I barely never ever use my Skype to be honest. Only Discord pretty much
But yeah it sucks. I'll use HF from my iPad for a while now so won't be very active.

You can't be ratted by a .JPG, You can however be infected by a .jpg.exe which is just a fake extension if you don't have the file/folder settings set to "show file extensions"
Or using a spoofer that keeps the .exe in the name but uses a special character to flip the extensions.
Re image your HDD and get over it buddy and don't download files from people you don't trust... <.<

Well last time he was "ratted" his account was used to scam members.
