Contact staff and get a hardware 2fa device.

Use the contact form and request an account recovery. There is a flat fee of $20 and there isn't a guarantee of success.

Just wondering - what should people even do in case that their phones get broken/stolen what can they save to recover this a lot quicker?

When I switched phones, I think I just put in my phone number and password and I got in. Not sure how people lose their 2fa.

There's an app called Authy which syncs to your phone, laptop, whatever to do 2FA so you'll never lose your codes.

If this would happen in my case, which is happening btw, you either have 2 options.
Either write down your private code that you receive for recovery, or you can use an app like Authy (multi device supported).

That'll be 20 dollars for you to give to Omni then

It is the people that lose 2fa and then accidentally log out that get shafted.

This is why I don't use 2fa authentication

People should really not use Gauth, Authy is better. You can transfer it to a new device even if the old device is unusable. It takes 24 hours but its better than it being lost forever.
