How to make GIFs - LoopTurn_ - Nov 14, 2017

How would I go to make something like a GIF for my signature on a xenforo powered website? I don't know what to use or where to start. If you can link me to anything that would explain a little more thank you.

Use After Effects and Photoshop, tons of tutorials about this.

if you need a more advanced animation you'll wanna use after effects + photoshop, for simple stuff you can use photoshop alone. Look around youtube or something im sure u can find a tut with these programs

Can you specify more on what you are looking for? Do you mean actually creating the GIF image or converting one file type of another to GIF?

If you are looking to creating a GIF signature you can do complex ones in programs such as After Effects, Cinema 4D, and Sony Vegas as well I believe. Any other video editing programs out there are also plenty capable of this, however, these are the main ones I see.

If you are looking to create a GIF such as converting a .AVI into a .GIF you can do this using Photoshop by using "Save for Web" and selecting GIF.
