uid=137863 = SCAMMER => changed username from MARIO to Junx
Different join date, different reputation. Different everything, but same name. How is that possible? Can this be fixed? Thanks
User Mario changed name to Junx succesfully. => Guess not a bug, but should be fixed or updated this feature
Fck I almost got scammed for 500$

If this thread is nonsense, please admin or mod delete it, but I don't think it's good if somebody can change their username to some other already existing one.
I mean check UID is good thing, but alot of newbies can be scammed like this.
In my inbox there was "Junx", not "Junx." or "Junx:" or "Junx!". It was "Junx" like real "Junx"

I'm not scammed by anyone, but almost I did because I sent 500$ to real Junx BTC address...
When fake Junx said he need 500$, I just sent to BTC address which real Junx provided it 1 day ago earlier.
Why I sent so fast btc?

He doesn't need to delete the option to change usernames. There are other ways to fix the issue.
(not a bug either, invisible characters are just allowed)

Ub3rs have already lost the ability to junk threads. In recent months, people have been discussing the removal of the ability to delete posts. Now you want everyone to keep the username they registered with? Please, try to understand the adverse side effects that would have...
We already have numerous ridiculous threads about other issues, including the removal of some features similar to this. The last thing we need is people posting more threads complaining about the loss of the ability to change their username. Whether they'd do it for malign reasons is out of the question. I'd like to think at least some people wouldn't want to stay known as "jackwest29851" forever.

The feature should remain so long as you can backtrace their username history. Just keep their user ID somewhere... a text document will do just fine. No matter what they change their username to, their UID will always be the same.

That's why everyone has an unique UID.
Make a valid deal dispute and mention the scammers UID in it.
