personal assistant help - Duravex - Nov 29, 2017 I want to build a text-controlled personal assistant with python for my computer. It should work offline and should be able to open other application of computer. So how can i build my personal assistant? Any tutorials please share it. Thanks in advance! RE: personal assistant help - TheMarkMan - Nov 29, 2017 Break it down into it's major functionalities. Then tackle each functionality seperatly. Keep breaking it down until it makes sense. Do a google search for tutorials on each functionality. You're more likely to find a google result on "open program with python" than "tutorial on how to build a personal assistant that can open programs for me" RE: personal assistant help - Zeff - Nov 29, 2017 Some documentation that might come in handy for your project: Taking user input Opening a new process in Windows Though, if that's the only functionality you're planning on, then using shortcuts or terminal aliases sounds like a better option RE: personal assistant help - userU - Nov 30, 2017 (Nov 29, 2017 08:31 AM)TheMarkMan Wrote: Break it down into it's major functionalities. Go through one by one and keep improving on it. Youll get there soon, but take pride in it and learn while coding. |
