Is Dragonball Kai worth watching? - Grand Priest - Nov 30, 2017

I was researching the Dragonball franchise for a poll on this forum and i discovered Dragonball Kai by accident, and i have a few questions.

Questions:
  1. Is Dragonball Kai worth watching?

  2. Is there a website with has the full saga english dubbed? Ofcourse i prefer in high quality but i can watch LQ of it is any good.

  3. I always thought that Dragonball Super was the saga after Dragonball Z (in story line) but in what timeline of the dragonball franchise does Dragonball Kai plays off? I know that Dragonball GT is in the future though.

Pretty sure Kai just just a redo of Z for kids or something like that, less blood and all that.

Not true. It removes gore to be TV friendly and to become more friendly for Saturday morning cartoon time (yes, for the children). But more importantly it cuts out a ton of the filler. If you like filler, then stick with the original Z. If you dont want to spend 4 years getting through 1 arc, watch Kai.

It's preference really, but I can't get through the original Z. It's way too long and it's got way too much filler. Only downside I see with kai is they never finished the buu arc iirc.

EDIT: It also has substantially better animation in my opinion. It's newer and remastered, for what it's worth.

Kai was basically made for the people who wanted Dragon Ball Z without the fillers. Are the fillers bad? Not exactly. In fact you'll see lots of subtle character development and slice of life moments that you would not see in Kai. Some of which adhered to being like the predecessor Dragon Ball. But unfortunately majority of the fans are only here for the main story arcs and Kai was produced to redeem that.

Dragon Ball Z and Dragon Ball Kay are the same anime one !
But the difference in the footage, music and some pictures are not the same
From my opinion Dragon Ball Super is the best hand drawing and precision but Z stays original :)
