Prevent $ losses in BTC - 4158996621556 - Dec 7, 2017 I have some BTC and I think that bitcoin's value is way too high and will be falling soon. Since I don't want to lose money, is there a way to convert BTC to USD and then back to BTC again, without id verifications etc? They're currently in blockchain.info , what can I do? No bank, no credit card, etc. Any tips? :) RE: Prevent $ losses in BTC - THE NORTH FACE - Dec 7, 2017 There is USDT, but I think its risky. Otherwise LocalBitcoins if you want cash. RE: Prevent $ losses in BTC - Pain - Dec 7, 2017 Send to a currency exchange, and put it in a alt for a while and convert back when ready or tether RE: Prevent $ losses in BTC - Unkn0wnUs3r - Dec 7, 2017 Coinbase, convert it to USD, GBP or EUR (more stable, real currencies). Hold it in your real currency wallet and then put it back to BTC as and when you need. Heard some bad things about Tether so I'm going to stay away and I'd also avoid cash/bank/cc/id verification things 🤫 Would like to keep it all "online" in a way (Dec 7, 2017 10:46 AM)Unkn0wnUs3r Wrote: Coinbase, convert it to USD, GBP or EUR (more stable, real currencies). Plus, would I be able to deposit big amounts in there? How does it work? Is there a limit per day or something? I don't know the exact limits but it's around like $20,000 a week. So you'll be good unless you are a whale RE: Prevent $ losses in BTC - 4158996621556 - Dec 7, 2017 (Dec 7, 2017 11:09 AM)reDread Wrote: Coin base does has limits for non verified accounts. Damn that's better than I thought, but if it didn't have limits I'd be better off, I'm thinking of signing up but: Can coinbase lock my account for no reason and force me to provide id card, etc. to unfreeze my funds? Has it ever happened before? I don't want my money stuck 😠 RE: Prevent $ losses in BTC - reDread - Dec 7, 2017 (Dec 7, 2017 11:12 AM)HackingDoge Wrote: Damn that's better than I thought, but if it didn't have limits I'd be better off, I'm thinking of signing up but: https://support.coinbase.com/customer/portal/articles/1905680-does-coinbase-freeze-accounts- Coinbase will only freeze your unverified account if it is of high risk for fraud. So if you are only moving $1k a day or less, don't worry about it RE: Prevent $ losses in BTC - StoneIsland - Dec 7, 2017 Get it on bittrex.com and convert it into usdt. What about poloniex? Does it freeze account? What are its limits? Can I hold USD/EUR in poloniex? Enlighten me, cryptocurrency experts! Still believe it's going to fall down, if anyone could help me save my money, I'll love you forever :) RE: Prevent $ losses in BTC - 4158996621556 - Dec 8, 2017 Yo guys. Any ideas? If your idea works I'll have no problem giving u some money... :P RE: Prevent $ losses in BTC - Horus God - Dec 8, 2017 take this from me : dont move your money on btc at this time. any transaction will made its not easy to get confirmed at this time. if want save btc on something use tether.to, i recommend to store your money on it. Yea I happened to earn a lot and paypal was going to block my account so the only way to keep the money was cash it out in btc and from there on i just started earning with btc the profits are nice but the rise isn't ""healthy"" and i'm sure a big crash is going to happen soon, need to keep my money safe... is tether safe though? And if I sign up on tether.to and deposit for example 50k$, will they ask for verification or something? Can accounts be frozen? Can the tether crash? How does it work exactly? |
