Email and PM Notifcation Delays - Omniscient - Dec 10, 2017
Seems that MyBB has a bug with the email notifications being queued and sent at such a slow rate that it's causing huge delays for members. I've tracked down the problem and inserted a fix.
So for those who waited hours to find out they had a PM or a new thread reply you should now get notifications within 5-10 minutes.

This thread was created almost 7 months ago.
However it seams as though the issues have returned.
It’s taking at times up to 4 hours to receive notifications for myself.

This is cool because I can now setup the sms notifications for private messages I've wanted to do for a while but haven't been able to because of the delay.
Update- Didn't see it was a thread from 2017 haha.

You could simply PM him about it or make a separate thread rather than grave dig a months old thread

It's still relevant to the conversation.
I still think this is an issue I have been experiencing for a while
My email notifications take upwards of 6 hours sometimes.
I remember a year ago, I would get an email almost immediately.

Correct it does seem as though the notifications issue has returned again.
I have yet to receive a email notification from my posts I have made within the last 3 hours
