Orcus Remote Administrator. - Customer please read. - Armada - Dec 12, 2017 Firstly, I hate making these threads. It is always in the aspect of like disaster control or some other bull hit to which my product was misused. In this case it appears to have been financial fraud. So to start: Source Article Anyone with a half a brain can tell Orcus was not in fact the direct cause, but in fact the launching platform for other more malicious actual malware to be deployed. My software was a launching platform at best description as I can figure out. Now I am generally okay with people reporting CONFIRMED technical data against my software, hell I use it to ban malicious users, being so few choose to actually email me directly for some damn reason. But then we see the OG article from Fortinet, which clearly shows whats going on. NOW we get the Sisters, and copy cats. For example: http://securityaffairs.co/wordpress/66526/malware/orcus-rat-target-bitcoin.html Instead of actually READING the true article and true technical analysis of what the fuck actually went on, I and Sorzus are now the evil people targetting BTC users, HOW? And on what measure? This failure of the medias accuracy is SERIOUSLY disappointing making legal companies out to be rogue cyber criminals. I flat out here and NOW address the fact Sorzus, or myself have NEVER ONCE ever utilize Orcus beyond its demonstrated abilities and without authorization, I FURTHER deny any claim to financial fraud on our part, the offending user was logged, shut the fuck down and the authorities have been handed ALL info I have on the user. I am not malicious. get it through your freaking skulls. RE: Orcus Remote Administrator. - Customer please read. - Ben Shapiro - Dec 12, 2017 - I have no idea who you are and I have a very basic understanding of RATs- This is a legitimate question I hope you don’t take it the wrong way - you are selling this RAT on a site named hackforums, although it may not be your intentions, do you not think that a vast majority of users are using your product for nefarious purposes? How many IT people are here needing to use this for administration of PCs??? I know a few IT people on here that use RATs for administration for businesses. Nonono i misspoke, i understand completely that he doesn’t want anyone to use it maliciously. But of the hundreds if not thousands of users he has, do you in your honest opinion believe that even 25% are using the product for legal services and applications? Again, i believe this is of no fault to op, I’m just stating what I’ve gathered in my limited time here. And the explanation is as follows. I met the Developer on Hack Forums while he was trying to figure out what to do with his project (Now know as Orcus) The straight out primary reason Orcus is still and even advertised to this community is because this is where and how Sorzus and Myself met. We have numerous other ad platform used, inclusive of adwords and FB ads etc, but everyone seems to focus on the fact our original thread started where we met one another. 😑 I mean thats your opinion to have I am rather tred of defending to the internet, when I have dealt with the legal authorities numerous times and yet can sit here still typing the fuck away. Ah ok, yeah I bet more than half of the people probably use it maliciously, but I know there are a few people who use it legally here. Armada said he ended up banning a bunch of licenses due to malicious use. That’s very reasonable and makes total sense, it’s too easy for people (me included) to jump to the gun when the whole story isn’t known but I get how it’s impossible to provide an autobiography to every critic. It took me a minute but the more I thought it the more I realized it’s like guns. They have very a legitimate purpose in society but criminals will get their hands on them but eventually if they are caught they will have them taken away. You can’t just go ahead and blame smith and Wesson for the criminals actions with their firearms. I can use a brick to murder a mother fucker, it does not make the brick manufacturer liable. - I take very serious precautions to prevent any possible misuse, but it is apparent, people are freaking creative, when my software does not allow them to do the malicious activities they wish to accomplish they create work arounds, this is obviously something myself and Sorzus have now addressed, discussed and are formulating a plan to stop the abuse. What this retard did was creative as holy hell I will grant that for creativity, however stupidity, as I was able to track the control server and license to a legit Paypal account. 🤐 Whoops. DO NOT IMPLICATE ME IN CYBER CRIME I openly have told everyone I already work with the Cyber crime division of the RCMP, I have zero problems handing malicious users info over if I deem needs to do so. Dont fuck around with Orcus, I am being serious and actively actioning EVERY report entered to my system.
