IPv6 Compatable - Omniscient - Dec 19, 2017 WTF! I just noticed that I think the HF servers aren't compatible with IPv6 connections. Cloudflare is suppose to fix that but I think there is a problem. Looking into this now but WTF! WTF! This might be preventing a lot of people from visiting HF. Anyone have an IPv6 that can connect to HF? RE: IPv6 Compatable - DestinyX - Dec 19, 2017 I wouldn't bet on that man. Most VPN's aren't IPv6 and if it were true, you'd have seen many complaints already Stop worrying.. But yeah, you should get it IPv6 compatable RE: IPv6 Compatable - ohxerxe - Dec 19, 2017 I am running with an IPv6 havent noticed any problems I think I have been running it for months now RE: IPv6 Compatable - kawaii - Dec 19, 2017 IPv6 uptake has been extremely slow so I would doubt that. I attempted to connect to HackForums via a number of different IPv6 endpoints and each time received a 403 response, so I assume these are on your blocklists. If your server has a relatively modern kernel and networking stack there shouldn't be any issues with IPv6 compatibility. RE: IPv6 Compatable - Omniscient - Dec 19, 2017 I got it working correctly now. Pain in the ass. So many layers to check. :( Cloudflare was doing psuedo translations for HF so logs showed IPV4 but it was also blocking some connections. Wasn't working as it should but I think it's all good now. Part of the issue was that MyBB 1.8x wasn't ipv6 compatible so I never enabled it fully until now since we are suppose to be compatible. Seems to be working. RE: IPv6 Compatable - OneManCrowd - Dec 19, 2017 IIRC CloudFlare has a switch you can toggle on the dashboard to enable IPv6 at the DNS layer. RE: IPv6 Compatable - Silver Fang - Dec 19, 2017 I connected earlier with ipv6 working without a problem. RE: IPv6 Compatable - Omniscient - Dec 19, 2017 Meh, ehh....we're good. Thanks. |
