[DEMO] Digital goods marketplace app w/ chargeback prevention - Silent Sweat - Dec 26, 2017 Hey guys, I've been working on developing a digital goods marketplace for a little while. I've got the marketplace set up, and now I'm working on completing the escrow payment system to prevent chargeback fraud. Would love to get all your feedback on what I've built so far. RE: [DEMO] Digital goods marketplace app - SIM-1589588 - Dec 26, 2017 Instead of vouch system you should add Review/feedback system because if some product is bad, where customer will post his review? Very interesting insight, thanks for that. I've been thinking about this too. Ability to give positive/negative review is better than just a positive vouch. I may change vouch into reviews and ability to rate 1-5 stars for each review. This is just my opinion, and I haven't looked in to what evidence actually supports, but when choosing an option, if there are a middle ground (3 stars) people are more likely to choose that than say they like or dislike a product. I'd maybe consider just having 4 stars? That way even if they are on the fence about a product, they have to state whether they like or dislike it, rather than giving a "no comment" type of reply. Overall, I quite like your site. Without delving in too deep, everything you've implemented seems to work as it should do. Whilst I do like the design, I think a little more work is needed on it. The home page appears a little too dark for my liking, and more distinction is needed when viewing separate parts of the home page (categories). I'm looking forward to seeing the finished product! Please do keep us updated on this project :) RE: [DEMO] Digital goods marketplace app w/ chargeback prevention - Silent Sweat - Dec 26, 2017 (Dec 26, 2017 02:57 PM)Jam1e Wrote: This is just my opinion, and I haven't looked in to what evidence actually supports, but when choosing an option, if there are a middle ground (3 stars) people are more likely to choose that than say they like or dislike a product. Thanks a lot for your input! I actually already implemented the review system (didn't push it up to the demo yet). You must leave a description AND give a rating of 1-5 stars. Also, I agree 100% with your statement about the categories! There is very little distinction on those pages so it's hard to tell what page you're on exactly, I will be adding some verbiage and so on. Still thinking of home page concepts as well. Stay tuned! |
