Client not showing up in Spynote 5.0 - Shitbird2247 - Dec 28, 2017
I cannot for the life of me get my tablet to show up in Spynote. I have opened the correct port, my firewall is disabled on my PC and router, and the stub is running on the tablet. I also tried running it on a virtual android device with the same problem. I know it's being blocked somewhere but I can't figure out where. My guess is either Windows 10 on my PC or my ISP somehow. If anyone can help I'd appreciate it because this is driving me crazy. I can provide any additional info if needed.
I also tried a few regular PC RATs and even when trying on my own machine had the same problem. The only time I was able to get it to work was when I put 127.0.0.1 as the IP for the client. Anything other than that didn't work even over my local network.

Your portforwarding is probably not correct. What's your current setup?

i have it forwarded to port 22222. On my router 22222 is forwarded to my PC which has a static IP. When I go to canyouseeme it says success. I even tried putting my PC in the DMZ and still nothing. Oh I'm also not using a DNS since I'm just trying to do this to my own tablet so the IP I entered in Spynote is just my external IP.

check the antivirus.. If that doesnt works, May be the copy of your spynote is bad.. Try replacing it with a working one..

I’ve tried adding spynote as an exception to windows defender and tried with defender completely off. Neither way seemed to work. I suppose it’s possible that the copy of spynote is bad. How would know if the copy I get is good or bad? Thanks for the suggestions

Since I’m just playing around with this on my own tablet I’m not using a dns so I just entered my external IP when building the stub. Sorry, I can’t PM since I just created an account and haven’t posted enough.

if you dont have money buy dns or vpn then go to work and dont lose your time becouse without crypter any rat normally dont work:D

I do have money. I’d just rather not spend it because I’m just fooling around with this software on my own device. Are you saying that it won’t work at all if it’s not crypted? I thought that was just to hide it from AV software.

Are you trying to connect back to yourself from within your LAN? Because if that's the case your home gateway or router is not allowing it and that is a normal behavior on most network setups. Have you tried connecting infected device from a different network?

I have the same problem, my spynote is working over lan but is not working with public ip over the internet. Though, i am able to see the ports are open and working on canyouseeme.com. Windows defender and firewall is also turned off, what should be the possible issue.
If i am some how using a bad copy of spynote, then why is it working on local lan.

bro noip.com offers free hostnames. I used noip.com and their DUC app for njRAT and it works fine.
I tried the same for Spynote but it does not work 😭😭😭
