For the price of those two 1080s you could have got 4 or 5 RX 580 cards that can get 28-30MH/s each.

Take a look here - http://whattomine.com/coins
Obviously change the voltage, electricity cost and see what it says

No, he didn't. It literally says GTX 1080.

sorry only looked at video and hash.
Thought it was some of the same 1060s as me.

23 MH for a 1080ti is ass

It's not a 1080Ti either
22-24MH/s seems about average. Ti's get 35-40MH/s but at a ridiculous cost. Not worth it at all

Not if you're mining the right coin, a single TI can do $8 a day mining Zclassic coin consuming 280 watts only.

We are talking about Ethereum which OP is mining.
As I said in my first post, he needs to go on that site and check what would be more profitable.

That hash rate is pretty much what I got too when I tested a 1080, or well, on default clock speeds it was slightly lower. Either way, it was disappointing af to see the has rate. I don't think that overclocking will help that much, should just mine something else with that.

RE: Overclocking question - Joël- - Dec 29, 2017

With a 1080 I would mine ZCL or HUSH, 23mh is terrible for a gtx 1080. Mine a different algorithm. I spent $260 for a 570 today and was getting 24.7mh/s stock. With a bios mod i'm getting 29+. Mining Hush or ZCL with be getting you around $5 a day which is probably your best option.

http://whattomine.com/coins is your best friend when it comes to this :D
