(help) Can I start an external session as an IPV6 user? - jellyfish123 - Jan 14, 2018 Hello guys, so yesterday I found out that port forwarding isn't possible on IPV6. What do I do? Is there any exploit that would work outside of my network? I tried using windows/meterpreter/reverse_ipv6_tcp (with the multi/handler exploit) - but that doesn't seem to work outside of my IP. Any response would be highly appreciated. Thanks! RE: (help) Can I start an external session as an IPV6 user? - CyberStrike - Jan 15, 2018 Something to remember is that there is mixed IPv6 to IPv4 you want to make sure it is fully IPv6 http://ipv6-test.com/ That can give you a bit of a better idea. I know that some Cisco devices use a dual stack which allows both IPv6 & IPv4 for the same device. You may want to consider going with the standard rev_tcp, it maybe that inside your network you are using IPv6 but publicly you have an IPv4 address. |
