What kinds of hacking are there, and what guides can I take to learn about them? - JustAManWithoutAPlan - Jan 19, 2018 I'm trying to expand my knowledge of hacking, however with all the info, it's easy to get overloaded with useless info and things I'm not trying to learn. In basic terms, can someone give me a list of the types of hacking available, some requirements, and/or a list of places where I can learn more about it? If you don't feel like giving me a list, then tell me about what kind of hacking you do! I'd love to hear it all 😁 RE: What kinds of hacking are there, and what guides can I take to learn about them? - Dr. Gonzo - Jan 19, 2018 Here is a list in no particular order. 1. Webhacking (SQLI, XSS, RFI, LFI, CSRF, etc. check out exploit.db) 2. Malware (rats, keyloggers, botnets, stealers, etc.) 3. Wifi Hacking (aircrack-ng,, packet injection, etc.) 4. network hacking (which often involves software exploitation) (Remote code execution, taking advantage of misconfigurations) 5. Software Exploitation (RCE, DOS, Buffer Overflow, start by checking out exploit.db) 6. Account cracking (sentryMBA, Combos, etc.) 7. Social Engineering (not my area but its basically where you convince people to do shit for you. Ewhoring could be included in this technically) Here is a useful thread: https://hackforums.net/showthread.php?tid=5676945 PM me for help. I can set you on the path to get gud. btw. you smell like a fed. js. RE: What kinds of hacking are there, and what guides can I take to learn about them? - mrpizzahut - Jan 20, 2018 Great outline!
