Not Clickable Username "Guest" - ZeroOne - Jan 23, 2018
Was just browsing HF and found a few threads created by a "Guest", when opening the thread, I saw the person's username and it wasn't "Guest". The username from the "View New Posts" page was also not clickable.

I've seen this before as well.
I think it has to do with deleted members or something a long that way (not sure though).
Let's see what a staff member has to say about this one.

I don't think it is about deleted members, when you get in the thread, the username shows up and is completely fine. This is very weird and yes let's see what they say 😯

It could also mean he didn't confirm his email maybe?

Been trying to quote your comment for like 30 seconds and wondering what happened lol.
User has over 30 posts and I don't think you can post without confirming your email. It's very weird.
Edit: I've also tried refreshing multiple times and it's still the same.

Pretty sure it happens when the site glitches for a few seconds when you try to post.

Yeah I'm pretty sure it's nothing too serious but might as well bring some attention to it just in case. Thanks for the input guys.

When an account is fully deleted from MyBB, it defaults to Guest.
Those are probably really old threads (probably from when Omni imported the DB).
