• Aoki Uru - This will be the sequel to Gainax's 1987 animated film Ouritsu Uchuugun: Honneamise no Tsubasa, a favorite of mine. The sequel was originally meant to be released sometime in the early 90s but production was halted in 1993, however its supposed to be released sometime this year after the project was restarted in 2013.

• Ginga Eiyuu Densetsu: Die Neue These - Kaikou - This is a remake of the original Ginga Eiyuu Densetsu from 1989 by Production I.G. coming out next season. Although I don't expect it to live up to the original masterpiece in any way or form, should hopefully be an interesting adaptation given that Production I.G. is heading the project.

• Made in Abyss S2 - This one needs no introduction due to how recent it is, yet I am looking forward to S2 ;)

• Evangelion 3.0+1.0 - The most unlikely on this list seeing as it has been 6 years since the previous film and Hideki Anno has been working on other projects such as his Godzilla reboot. Many are waiting for the final film to end the film series, but it doesn't seem likely anytime soon that this will occur.

• Berserk [Manga] - The newest batch of chapters have been released over the course of the past few months, with chapter 353 being the most recent a few days ago. The hiatus between each set of chapters has grown longer over the years, but hopefully one day it will come to a sound conclusion.
