Should I fix these bad habits? - c00lkid66 - Feb 1, 2018

So I'm a freshmen, and I have a 3.85 GPA. I'm taking all honors classes, including Portuguese 2 and Honors Geometry, which 10th graders normally take. I don't study, since I can read things over and remember most of what I read. I don't have photographic memory or anything, but it's pretty good. Should I study more? I can remember most things, but I feel like I should be getting higher grades. Also, I'm really unorganized. I'm doing pretty good so far, should I fix these things, or just keep doing what I'm doing?

I never will understand why people make such posts like this other than toot their own horns.

Obviously if you want to be successful through highschool and college you need good study habits and organizational skills. What do you expect people to say?

Half of me thinks that, but half of me thinks that I shouldn't fix something that isn't broken.

Just have fun in High School while it lasts, at least that is what I am doing! Put in a minimal amount of time at school and live your life before you will go study and start working for the rest of your life

I cant speak for revision, if you don't need do do much you don't need to do much. Just do a bit to make sure don't fail miserably I guess.

Organisation is very important in life I found, get organised and you'll waste less time and be much more productive.

When I was at highschool I had a similar problem.
Try to organise yourself and try different methods to learn

Well if that fucks up your future is it really worth it? Not saying don't have fun but focus on what's really important.

You're doing most of the work already, you need about 15% more effort to get a 4.0 in every class easily. So it's not as much work as you think, however will benefit you a lot.

Do what works. If you GPA starts to fall, change your habits. If that GPA will get you to the school you want to go to, fuck the extra work lol. I got to my university with that mentality and I'm doing fine in the uni.

If you're not getting a 4.0 easily then you're not good enough to pass off on not studying.
If you're going to claim you can get by without studying, you better have a 4.0
