Regarding: HF Features Broken - Self Close/Open & Memberlist Reputation - Xerotic - Feb 5, 2018
I would like to help with two of the features currently broken from the list.
1. Add Memberlist option to sort by reputation.
2. Fix the Open/Close plugin.
I have created a plugin for the reputation on memberlist page and I updated the Self Close/Open that you originally created and that I updated for you in 2011/2012.

1. Add Memberlist option to sort by reputation.
Traditionally you have likely done this via template edits as you posted about here back in 2010. However MyBB 1.8 now has a variable $colspan instead of a static number that you can change. For this reason (and to easier handle template edits) I propose to use a plugin instead of just editing the templates manually.

{$orderarrow['threadnum']}</span></td> changed to {$orderarrow['threadnum']}</span></td>{$rep_header}
{$lang->sort_by_posts}</option> changed to {$lang->sort_by_posts}</option>{$sort_by_rep}

The plugin includes:
1. Adding the reputation to the select drop down box.
2. Adding the column to display the reputation in results.
3. Stylizes the reputation based on value (negative/neutral/positive).
4. Constructs a link to the users reputation page.

2. Fix the Open/Close plugin.
This plugin is a little more in depth. Back in 2011/2012 when I was helping Omniscient out at MyBB Central I updated the Self Close/Open plugin. See that thread here: http://www.mybbcentral.com/thread-7917.html
MyBB 1.8 has brought changes and permission bugs have caused some issues. I have resolved the permission issues and made the admin settings page cleaner.
-Permission now checks for all usergroups instead of just primary group.
-Got rid of old close/open buttons with image in exchange for normal <a> tag.
-Add the usual MyBB 1.8 prompt ($prompt) so there is a confirmation to close/open.
-Changed textbox in AdminCP to the built in 'groupselect'. Much cleaner this way.
-Minor logic adjustments.
-Uses language files.
I have tested it on a default MyBB board that I have for development. I don't think HF should require any additional alterations beyond regular plugin upload/installation because the template edit is pretty non-intrusive. It still uses "Posting" in settings.

The only actual reason why Omni could use that plugin instead of the code within his original tutorial is this:

Other than that, changing the {$colspan} variable (don't really need that variable) to the number 8 works perfectly. You've basically done it in your plugin. He'd also have to add in the ahref sort link

It will most likely get done. The question is when. The trust scan feature was an amazing add-on to the forums. Was most useful to group leaders and when users are dealing in the market place.

Not really, Omniscient has a lot in his plate right now.Just have patience he'll bring back everything as it was also EVEN BETTER.
