Just out of curiosity if you all had to guess how often do you think law enforcement flips through HF to see all of our crazy ass threads?

Id have to say law enforcement monitors this site more than you think.

They probably just laugh at some of the stupidity here

Probably something to keep a pretty close eye on.

At least one law enforcement agency has an official account here.

I can personally vouch that the FBI and Interpol frequent the site, how much I do not know but they are here 100%.

I do not know about local law enforcement tho.

I'm just imaging that they are actually all those new members that sign up and ask how to do blackhat things like how to hack bitcoin or how to hack the fbi.

"He was browsing a fourm which teaches people how to exploit computers"
"Well lets look for ourselves"
" Hackfourms.com huh? let see.... Whats E-whoring..... Thats literally all i see is "unsaturated" packages of... everything..."

I was at a cyber sec conference last year where they actually pulled up a screenshot of Hackforums to show that 'communities of hackers are out there waiting to attack you' or something along those lines. HF is definitely on the radar for every major organisation involved in cyber crime, public and private.

They probably watch this forum every once in a while.
I feel bad for the employee who has to check our bullshit posts lol.

I think people, especially users here, don't really recognize there isnt much hacking on going on here.

Other than checking on the RAT section and shit like that I doubt most people here are interesting enough to draw attention from any three letter org.

I really doubt they would come here unless they have a specific reason to.

Yeah who has time to look through all of these posts for malicious intent

What if you are one of them? ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

RE: How often do you think HF is viewed by law enforcement? - Kuso - Feb 9, 2018

Probably rarely. After coming here and seeing how the community is, they probably see us as non existent threat wise.

RE: How often do you think HF is viewed by law enforcement? - Cagey - Feb 9, 2018

We have plenty of feds and LEO here

Let's be honest if you are a target then it really doesn't matter where you are. But i do pity the people having to sift threw the typical HF Posts.
Also threat assessment may be a thing??? just because you are a small fish doesn't mean you can't become a big fish over night....
